Marketed as the more price-conscious (Breitling’s words, not mine) chronograph, this version uses the less”illustrious” (again, their words not mine) Breitling navitimer 8 b35 automatic unitime 43 imitation watch Caliber 01 motion, which unfortunately for those people plagued with minds that need design symmetry has sub-dials at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. The grade 01 works at 28,800bph and contains a 42 hour power reserve, which is passable if the value is there.
Again, the caseback is strong, which is totally fine as this motion isn’t the best looking (though attempted and dependable ). As with another Breitling Navitimer 8 watches, it’s offered in a steel or black DLC case with a black or blue dial on either a metal bracelet or leather strap. All in all, the package could come off a little bland to people like myself but the ideal price together with the Breitling heritage sans-Air Force Travolta mindset could be a winning value proposition.
